Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Haridwar – Barkot (138Km/04-05 Hrs approx.)
Today arrival at Haridwar, meet our driver at Haridwar Airport/Railway Station/Your pickup point & then we will drive towards Barkot via Mussoorie/Vikas Nagar. On reach check in into the hotel, after refreshed have dinner & overnight stay at Barkot.
Today early morning, we will proceed for Jankichatti/Phoolchatti, on reach there, start your trek from here to Yamunotri (6km) (Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at your own cost). After taking a bath in JamunabaiKund's warm water and having Darshan of Yamunaji return to Jankichatti by trek. Later drive back to Barkot hotel, after refreshed have dinner and overnight stay at Barkot.
Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. At Yamunotri, one can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the Tapt Kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple "Pooja" can be offered to DivyaShila.
Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (82Kms/03-04 Hrs approx.)
Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel then we will drive towards Uttarkashi. On route visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Later proceed to hotel, on reach check in into hotel, after refreshed have dinner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Uttarkashi: - is home to a number of ashrams, temples. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi, town of Uttarkashi is also situated on the banks of River Ganga.
Vishwanath Temple: - Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Re-constructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in the ancient architectural style. It is situated at the heart of the town. A massive iron trident, symbolic of divine mother’s, is erected and worshiped from time immemorial at the temple complex. Ganesh Ji, Sakshi Gopal, Markandeya Rishi’s small shrines are also part of the temple complex. Akhand Jyoti as well as Akhand Abhishek, special aarti at morning and evening are offered. As per Skunda Puran, Uttarkashi is known as ‘Saumya Varanasi’, the abode of Lord Shiva in Kaliyuga and counted as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100Kms/04-05 Hrs approx.)
Today early morning, we will drive towards Gangotri, enroute at Gangnani take a holy dip in Garam Kund, further drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil is famous for its nature beauty and for the majestic views of the deodar trees and mountains. On arrival at Shree Gangotri Temple, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform pooja and darshan, after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Later drive back to Uttarkashi. On reach hotel after refreshed have dinner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi/Phata (200Kms/07-08 Hrs approx.)
Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel then drive towards Guptkashi/Phata via Ghanshali. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini River comes from the Kedarnath. later drive to hotel, on reach check in into the hotel, after refreshed have dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi/Phata.
Today Early morning after breakfast, check out from hotel our driver will drop you at Sonprayag then you have to take local jeep for Gourikund & then your trek starts for Kedarnath ji. Reach Kedarnath Ji Mandir, attend Bhajan Sandhya in Kedarnath Ji and overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Gouri Kund: Local tradition claims that Gouri Kund is the spot where Gouri Lived while carrying out practices and it was here that shiva finally admitted his love for her. check inn into hotel and overnight stay in Kedarnath.
By Heli: Morning after breakfast, then we will drive towards Guptkashi/Phata/Sirsi helipad as per your pre-book Heli tickets. Then we are proceeding for flying to Kedarnath via Heli, on reach Kedarnath helipad, then process to Kedarnath Temple, after perform Pooja, Darshan of Baba Kedarnath Ji, attend evening arti of Baba Kedarnath Ji Arti at Kedarnath Temple, and overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Day 7: Kedarnath – Gourikund – Sonprayag – Phata/Guptkashi (by trek or Heli)
Today Early morning we will darshan of Baba Kedar ji and then process to back Sonprayag by Trek. Meet our driver at Sonprayag. Later drive to Phata/Guptkashi hotel, check in into hotel after refreshed takes dinner and overnight stay at Phata/Guptkashi.
By Heli: Today morning, Darshan of Baba Kedar ji, perform Pooja and then process to back Phata/Sirsi/ Guptkashi helipad. Meet our driver at Helipad. Later drive to Guptkashi. On reach Guptkashi, after refreshed takes dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi.
Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The remaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhyamaheshwar and his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.
Day 8: Phata/Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath (145Kms/06-07 Hrs approx.)
Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel then we will drive towards Badrinath, via Joshimath. On route visit Shankaracharya Math, Narsingh Temple and Vishnuprayag Sangam, later drive for Badrinath. On reach check in into hotel, after refreshed have dinner & overnight stay at Badrinath.
Badrinath: is one of the 'Ancient Four Dham’s' is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus, the place got the name "Badri van", meaning "forest of berries".
Day 9: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag/Srinagar (155Km/05-06 Hrs approx.)
Today morning, we will darshan of Shri Badrinath Ji Temple and perform pooja and spend time visiting around the temple. After that we will proceed towards Rudraprayag/Srinagar, on route visit, Nandaprayag Sangam & Karnaprayag Sangam & Rudraprayag Sangam. On reach check in into hotel, after refreshed have dinner and overnight stay at Rudraprayag/Srinagar.
Day 10: Rudraprayag/Srinagar – Haridwar Drop (175Kms/06-07 Hrs approx.)
This is last day of your tour. Today Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel, then we will proceed to Haridwar. On route visit Devprayag Sangam. Later drive for Haridwar for Drop, Dropping with Sweet Memories.
